Sugar eases on mild demand, ample supply

Both the variety of sugar prices eased further at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to consistent selling by stockist amidst lower demand following ample supply positions.
Small sugar (S-30) eased by Rs 9 per quintal to Rs 2,812/2,892 from Monday's closing level of 2,812/2,901.
Medium sugar (M-30) moved down by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 2,922/3,132 as compared to Rs 2,926/3,132 yesterday.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,812/2,892 (Rs 2,812/2,901).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,922/3,132 (Rs 2,926/3,132.
