Sugar price increases

Barring sugar, prices of all other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Sugar rose by Rs.50 per quintal to Rs.3450 from its yesterday's closing price of Rs.3000.
Thoor dal,urad dal,moong dal,gram dal,wheat, maida(90 kgs) and sooji (90 kg) prices remained unchanged.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 13,500, Urad Dal Rs 13,500, Moong Dal Rs 9,000, Gram Dal Rs 6,000, Sugar Rs 3,450, Wheat Rs 3,000, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
