Sugar remains bearish on stockist selling

Both the varieties of sugar prices continued its fall at the Vashi wholesale market here today on persistent stockist selling amidst lower demand from bulk consumers and millers.
Small sugar (S-30) declined by Rs 26/9 per quintal to Rs 2,926/3,391 from Thursday's closing leve of Rs 2,952/3,100.
Medium sugar (M-30) eased by Rs 6 per quintal to Rs 3,086/3,246 as against Rs 3,092/3,246 yesterday.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,926/3,091 (Rs 2,952/3,100).
Medium sugar(M-30) quality: Rs 3,086/3,246 (Rs 3,092/3,246).
