Sukhbir constitutes 3-member teams to reorganise party set up

Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal today constituted zone-wise three-member committees for early and smooth reorganisation of the party set-up.
Each committee will be headed by a senior party leader.
A statement here said the committee headed by former minister Tota Singh will have senior leader Sarup Chand Singla and MLA Gurpartap Singh Wadal as members.
This team will take up responsibility for Ludhiana district and Kapurthala.
Similarly, former minister Ajit Singh Kohar's team will have Pawan Kumar Tinu and Ranjit Singh Kahlon as members and this team will work for district Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur and Pathankot.
The team headed by Daljit Singh Cheema will have Santa Singh Umaidpuri and senior party leader Parmjit Singh Sidhwan as members. This team will take up responsibility in Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and submit its report on reorganising party the set-up.

The team headed by former minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon will have senior party leader Sant Balbir Singh Ghunas and Iqbal Singh Jhunda as members. It will take up responsibility for Ropar, Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib and Moga districts, it said.

The team under former minister Gulzar Singh Ranike will have Mantar Singh Brar and Parkash Chand Singla as members and they will look after district Bathinda and Mukatsar.
These and other teams will take up meetings in their respective districts and send their report within a month to the party president.
The party's new organisational set-up will be declared on the basis of reports of these committees, the statement said.
