He also assured fast-track approvals for setting up such university by private players.
In a meeting with IL&FS education and technology services, Badal said that Punjab was focusing on to equip youths with latest skills so that they could avail employment opportunities in the industrial sector.
He said the availability of skilled manpower is critical so as to achieve and sustain high growth in the coming decades.
Stressing on the need to develop quality education nurseries in border areas, Badal said the state government could offer cross subsidy and other such measures to attract more and more private institutions in this endeavor
He gave a clarion call to private players to play a constructive role in this direction.
