Supreme Ind net profit up 20.19% to Rs 141 cr in Apr-Jun qtr

Plastic products maker Supreme Industries today reported 20.19 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 140.83 crore for the ended June 30, 2015.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 117.17 crore in the corresponding period last year, Supreme Industries said in a statement.
Supreme Industries, which follows July-June financial year, posted marginal increase of 0.05 per cent in its net sales on consolidated basis to Rs 1,278.04 crore as compared to Rs 1,277.30 crore in the same period a year ago.
For the fiscal 2014-15, the company posted 13.61 rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 311.70 crore as against Rs 274.34 crore in the previous fiscal.
Net sales during the fiscal improved to Rs 4,219.48 crore as against Rs 3,905.15 crore in the previous year, up 8.04 per cent, it added.
Shares of Supreme Industries today settled 1.47 per cent down at Rs 631.05 apiece on the BSE.
