The 29-year-old actor gave a sneak peek into the apparel line inspired by Dibakar Banerjee-directed film, which is set against the backdrop of Kolkata during World War-II in 1943.
The line titled NOIR 43 will be exclusively available at the Amazon's online retail.
Various elements from the film have influenced this line of contemporary clothing. To highlight the collection, Dibakar for the first time in has created a fashion range that was released here.
It gives the dhoti a new interpretation of slouchy draped knit pants while the digitally printed shirts and T-shirts reflect the mood portrayed in the film, whic is releasing on April 3.
The womenswear line reflects the glamour of the '40s and has a chic and sophisticated take on midi-length skirts, palazzos and Peter Pan-collared blouses.
