Kerala Governor P Sathasivam on Wednesday said former Union minister and BJP leader Sushma Swaraj had discharged her duties in parliamentary and public life with utmost dignity, sincerity and efficiency.
In a condolence message to her family members, Sathasivam said he was deeply grieved by Swaraj's demise.
"The timely help she extended to our citizens, especially Keralites, abroad, showed her genuine concern for people's welfare.
I convey my profound condolence to the bereaved family.
May her soul rest in peace", Sathasivam said.
Sushma Swaraj passed away at AIIMS, Delhi on Tuesday after suffering a cardiac arrest.
