Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly Rameshwar Dudi today asked Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to suspend recovery of electricity and water bills for two months due to the shortage of currency notes.
"There is a crisis of currency notes and people have no cash in hand. The government should suspend the recovery of electricity and water bills and ration should also be distributed free for two months," Dudi said.
He said that the Centre's decision of demonetisation has created "economic tsunami-like situation" and the market has come to a standstill.
