"Acting on a tip-off, a Lokayukta team raided the residence of Shiv Kumar Shrivastava and found fixed deposit receipts worth Rs 68 lakh, LIC policies worth Rs 13.50 lakh and Rs 3.22 lakh cash and jewellery," Lokayukta Gwalior SP, Atul Singh said.
The officer said that documents of a 2400 sq ft house in BSF Colony and details of a number of other properties in Gwalior were also found during the search.
The SP said it is learned that Shrivastava was suspended while working as a CEO in Karera in Shivpuri district and an inquiry is going on against him. At present, he is attached to Karera Janpad Panchayat's office in Ashoknagar district.
At the time of raid, he was not present at his residence in Gwalior, the SP said adding that the exact value of his properties can be ascertained only after the proper valuation of all the assets.
