Swadeshi National Conference to begin from tomorrow

More than 1000 delegates are likely to participate in the three-day all India conference of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch that begins here tomorrow.
Economic Agenda for the next Government at the Centre, Pakistan's claim on leaking of India's Basmati Rice to their market, WTO Agreement on Minimum Support Price Mechanism, imports from China and USA and Kasturirangan Report on Western Ghats were some of the topics scheduled for discussion, a press release said.
The representatives of the Manch who participated in several demonstrations against the 'Peace Clause' move in Indonesia during the WTO negotiations recently were disenchanted by the role of India government at the Meet, it said.

The commitment on 'trade facilitations' provided to developed countries at Bali is suicidal on our part and will lead to opening floodgates of imports from China, USA and other developed countries, the release said.
