Swara is currently in the North African country of Morocco where "Nil Battey Sannata" (The New Classmate) was shown in competition section at the Festival International Du Film De Femmes De Sale 2016 (International Festival of Women's Films 2016 in Sale).
The film was screened on September 20 and it received a standing ovation.
"I am overwhelmed and touched by the heart warming response 'Nil Battey...' has yet again received. It has been a wonderful experience in Morocco. We are basking in their love for India and Bollywood," Swara said in a statement here.
Internationally, Swara won the Best Actress Award at the Fuzhou International Film Festival in China.
