"From January 1 till March 30, 7,281 samples were tested, out of which 2,253 found to be positive. The number of deaths because of swine flu and other complications stood at 77 as on date," a swine flu bulletin issued by the Telangana state government said here today.
The bulletin said ten samples out of the 41 which were sent for analysis yesterday, were found positive for the H1N1 virus.
The state government has advised citizens to take precautions like reporting to hospitals on appearance of early symptoms of the disease like high fever, sneezing, cough and body pain.
