The company, which follows July to June period as financial year, had reported a net profit of Rs 24.79 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.
Symphony's net sales in October-December quarter stood at Rs 151.41 crore, up 31.40 per cent as against Rs 115.22 crore in the same period last year, the company said in a BSE filing.
For the first half of the 2014-15 fiscal, Symphony's standalone net profit has also increased by 47.40 per cent to Rs 57.65 crore as against Rs 39.11 crore in the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing, Symphony informed that its board in a meeting held today has declared an interim dividend of Rs 4 (200 per cent) per equity share having face value of Rs 2 each.
