T'gana CM asks officials to prepare new Waqf Bill
"Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao instructed that the state Waqf Act should be formulated newly in accordance with the central Act," a state government release said.
He asked the officials to take steps to protect Waqf properties. The properties should be fenced and a compound wall built, it said.
