"Keeping this in mind and to facilitate citizens, road development projects at an estimated cost of Rs 20,000 crore will be taken up in a big way," Rao said.
"Irrespective of anybody's cooperation, this programme will go ahead," he quipped.
"Multi-level flyovers would be constructed at six junctions around KBR Park in the first phase with Rs 510 crore for hassle-free movement of the vehicular traffic to transform Hyderabad into a global city," the minister added.
According to him, 54 junctions including in old city have been identified for construction of multi-level flyovers over the next three years.
Yadav said the multi-level flyovers around KBR Park would come up at junctions at KBR Park entrance, NTR Cancer Hospital, Maharaja Agrasen Circle, Filmnagar crossroad, Road No 45 and Jubilee Hills checkpost in the first pharse.
