"The property offers spacious rooms, which begins with 580 square feet for the base rooms. It is very spacious even in by international standards," Taj Santacruz General Manager Pankaj Sampat told PTI here.
Located just off the Western Express Highway, the hotel also offers a vantage point of access, with proximity to the city's financial and entertainment centres.
Having 279 rooms and suites, this new addition takes the number of luxury properties of the group to 23 globally.
Sampat said, 141 rooms would be available in the initial phase and by March 31 it is expected to be fully operational including 'Taj Club Rooms'.
Established in 1901, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces is one of Asia's largest group of hotels, comprising 100 hotels in 62 locations across the globe, including presence in India, North America, United Kingdom, Africa, Middle-East, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan.
