Take necessary steps to develop perfume park, museum at Kannauj: UP CS asks officials

Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Anup Chandra Pandey has directed concerned departments to implement the action plan prepared for developing perfume park and museum at Kannauj.

He has also directed the Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC) to interact with the perfume entrepreneurs and provide them suitable infrastructure.

The chief secretary gave these directives at a meeting Wednesday with the industrialists, producers and concerned officers related to perfume development.

"Necessary action should be taken for developing museum, industrial parks, shops and hotels and other basic amenities on the acquired land for the smooth execution of this plan," Pandey said.

"Perfume is a marked product under 'One District One Product' (OPOP) scheme and facilities should be given to the concerned entrepreneurs as per the rules," he said asking officials to establish communication with the Amazon and other big companies for selling of these perfume products online.
