Take steps to reopen AFT textile mills: Union

Puducherry Textile Mills Labour Union today asked the Central and State governments to take steps to reopen the century old AFT textile mills here.
In a release here, Union Secretary V S Abishegam said the Centre should come forward and provide funds to reopen the mill which remained non-functional for the last four years.
He appealed to the central and state governments to come out with an action plan to use the "multifarious potential available in the mill and restart it without delay.
