The star, who performed with Travis Tritt, Clint Black and the Judds at the 1994 Super Bowl Halftime Show, thinks it's high time the superstars of country were considered again, reported TMZ.
Following recent big show performances from Coldplay, Beyonce, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars, Tanya has a few thoughts about next year's headliner, saying, "Chris Stapleton, he's the first one I could think of."
The Super Bowl show is currently open after Adele recently confessed she was considered, but turned the offer down.
The last country star to front the show was Shania Twain in 2003.
