Tata Communications appoints Pratibha Advani as CFO

Tata Communications today appointed Pratibha K Advani as its Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining Tata Communications, Advani was working as the CFO of NIIT Technologies. She has over two decades of experience in fields such as financial strategy and project financing.
She has also worked with Barclays Shared Services as the CFO, and GE-SBI Cards as Vice President Finance and CFO.
"Pratibha's acumen in operating with high margin businesses to enable value-creating growth is well recognised in the industry. We look forward to working with her and capitalising on these skills as we continue to consolidate our global position," Tata Communications MD and CEO Vinod Kumar said.

Advani will be posted in India and will look after strategic financial management of the company, including corporate affairs and investor relations, Tata Communications said in a statement.
Speaking on her appointment, Advani said, "My focus will be to deliver value not only to complement business imperatives and long term-growth plans but also continue to build shareholder value through profitable growth.
