Tata Motors rolls out Safari Storme in Nepal

Firm will sell LX variant of vehicle at 42.25 lakh Nepali Rupees and high-end VX Trim at 56.85 lakh Nepali Rupees

Tata Motors today launched the updated version of its sports utility vehicle Safari Storme in Nepal, with price starting at Nepalese Rupees (NPR) 42.25 lakh.

The company, which is showcasing its products at the 11th NADA Auto Show in Kathmandu, will sell the LX variant of the vehicle at NPR 42.25 lakh and the high-end VX Trim at NPR 56.85 lakh.

"We are glad to launch our new Storme at the NADA Auto Show 15 and we are all set to provide the best vehicle experience to our visiting customers with this new offering," Tata Motors, Regional Head-South Asia, Sujan Roy said in a statement.

The Mumbai-based company is displaying Zest sedan, hatchback Bolt and entry-level model eXeta at the auto show.

Sipradi Trading CEO, Shambhu Dahal said that after successful launches of Zest and Bolt in Nepal, this is the third HorizoNext product the company is launching in Nepal.

"We are very sure that it will get good response from all, as we received on Zest and Bolt," he added.

Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company, with consolidated revenues of Rs 2,62,796 crore ($42.04 billion) in 2014-15.
