The stock rose by 4.15 per cent to settle at Rs 484.50 on BSE. During the day, it went up by 4.55 per cent to Rs 486.40.
On NSE, shares of the company gained 3.92 per cent to end at Rs 484.60.
In terms of volume, 15.14 lakh shares of the company were traded on BSE and over one crore shares changed hands on NSE during the day.
The company had sold 76,602 units in June 2015, Tata Motors had said in a statement.
In the passenger vehicles category, global sales stood at 59,831 units last month as against 45,519 units in the same month a year ago, up 31.44 per cent.
Sales of luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover grew 35.2 per cent to 47,197 units in June compared with 34,908 units in the same month last year.
