"The company, having successfully served the nation for over 100 years, achieved yet another milestone: the 450 MW of hydro power has been successfully commissioned in the centenary year," the company said in press release.
It further said that Tata Power will now aspire to add up to 40 per cent generation capacity through non-fossil options to its incremental portfolio.
Cyrus Mistry, Chairman, Tata Group, commented, "It is a matter of great pride to all of us that Tata Power has completed 100 years of operations... I am sure that Tata Power will continue to set standards in the coming decades. I wish Tata Power all the very best in the next century.
