In the fourth quarter ended March, the power utility produced 2,670 million units of electricity, it said in a statement.

The gross written premium for the year saw a 13 per cent surge to Rs 1,303 crore as against Rs 1,151 crore last year.
The total direct premium of the company grew by 14 per cent to Rs 1,263 crore as against Rs 1,105 crore in FY'13.
In FY'14, Future Generali India Insurance sold more than 9.5 lakh policies, a growth of 11 per cent from last fiscal and settled over 1.66 lakh claims. The investment funds under management as on March 31, 2014 stood at Rs 1, 494 crore.
Two-day conference on cotton scenario in August * A two-day All India Conference on Cotton will be held in Coimbatore on August 12 with the focus on the Indian cotton scenario.
The theme of the conference is 'Indian Cotton Scenario in the current context of 2014-15,' with separate sessions on the problems of farmers, ginners, traders, brokers and mills, J Thulasidharan, President, Indian Cotton Federation, the organisers, said today.
Since cotton prices were the deciding factor for the smooth working of textile industry with sustenance of margins in domestic sales and exports, the conference will discuss the policy on various stages including the role of Government agencies, he said in a release.
The resolutions to be adopted at the conference will be submitted to officials and ministries of both the Centre and state governments for their consideration, Thulasidharan said.
