TataSky to beam 65 news channels free during election results

DTH operator TataSky would beam over 65 news channels free for its subscriber for a week during the Lok Sabha election results.
The offer that started yesterday also applies to the online viewer of its Tata Sky's Everywhere TV service.
During the week, TataSky would offer a bouquet of 13 English news channels, 18 Hindi News channels and 38 regional news channels.
Regional language news channels include Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, Odia, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Godrej Appliances win IDM award

* Godrej Appliances has won Indian Design Mark (IDM) Award for its Godrej Eon Green Balance AC in consumer durables segment.

The award was conferred to the Godrej group firm for designing and manufacturing India's first commercially manufactured Green Air Conditioners, the company said in a statement.
India Design Mark is awarded by India Design Council an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
India Design Mark has been initiated in cooperation with Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP).

With the increase in the number of car thefts in India, a product like a car safe is the perfect option to secure valuables, the company said in a statement.
