Just last month, the 25-year-old "Bad Blood" hitmaker was ranked the third most followed, with Kardashian, 34, and R&B star Beyonce preceding her. The 33-year-old singer has 45 million followers.
The "Shake It Off" singer also tops Vanity Fair's Powers That Be list, beating out power players including Hillary Clinton and Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer.
Swift has yet to address her Instagram raise.
