A TDP leader from Andhra Pradesh today asked its central and state ally BJP to beware of three of its leaders, including former Union Minister and BJP Mahila Morcha in-charge D Purandeswari, accusing them of serving as "Sonia agents".

"D Purandeswari, Kavuri Samba Siva Rao and K Laxminarayana quit Congress and joined BJP to serve as Congress President 'Sonia (Gandhi) agents'," TDP Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Buddha Venkateswara Rao told reporters here.

He said that these three leaders are trying to create a rift between TDP and BJP intentionally to hurt both the parties.

Referring to their recent allegations of corruption in the TDP-led state government, the MLC said, "How the three leaders, who were the most corrupt in Congress rule, are now terming the state government as corrupt?"

He demanded the BJP high command to initiate action against the three "migrants" to save the cordial relations between TDP and BJP.

Former Visakhapatnam MP Purandeswari, former Union Minister of Textiles Kavuri Samba Siva Rao and former Andhra Pradesh Cabinet Minister K Laxminarayana, the then Congress members, had joined the BJP last year.
