The incident occurred yesterday when Pushpinder was caught carrying fire-cracker to school in Jarcha area by his PT teacher, who allegedly beat him up leaving him wounded.
Upon returning home the child narrated the incident to his father Veerpal and other relatives, who gave him first-aid and today approached the school principal Renu Vashisht to register a complaint against the accused teacher.
They allegedly roughed up the PT teacher in the school playground, Jarcha police station incharge Satinder Chauhan said, adding that the principal has suspended the teacher and ordered inquiry into the incident.
