Teacher beats up student for taking notebook from classmate

A Class 6 student of a private school, who was suffering from fever, was allegedly beaten up by his teacher for taking a notebook out of the bag of his classmate.
Parents of the 10-year-old boy, who lives in Vijay Nagar area, alleged that his condition deteriorated after he was thrashed by the teacher yesterday.
After the incident, his parents approached the school administration and complained against the teacher.
They also threatened to lodge a complaint with the police in this regard.
When contacted, police said they will take action once the matter is brought to them.
