registered today against a teacher for duping people on the pretext of providing them jobs, police said.
The accused, identified as Sukhbir Singh, is a school teacher in Sarai Bodal village near Malout, they said.
According to police, Singh has cheated many physical training instructors by making false promises of securing job for them in school claiming that he has contacts with political leaders and senior officials of education department.
