Teacher commits suicide in Raj

A government school teacher allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan at his rented house in Nagaur district of Rajasthan, police said today.
Ghever Ram Jat (58), who worked at senior secondary school in Vishnoi ki Dhani of Khinvsar tehsil, was found this morning by his son who was sleeping in a separate room last night, Investigating Officer Veerma Ram said.
The deceased and his son, Prahlad (28), were residing in the rented house since the last two-three months, he said.
According to family members, Jat was disturbed due to some family problems and was suffering from depression, Ram said.

The body has been sent to a local hospital for post-mortem, he said, adding, investigation into the matter is underway.
