The accused, Nirmal Tamang, who taught English at a private school here was arrested from his home after an FIR was lodged against him at Greater Kailash police station for allegedly molesting a 10-year-old girl student.
"The incident came to light when after being ill-treated by Tamang, the girl started crying following which fellow students complained to the Principal of the school. Realizing the gravity of the situation, the Principal gave a written complaint to police," a police official said.
During investigation, some other girls also reportedly levelled similar changes against Tamang which are being probed, police said.
