"He has prior engagements so he won't be joining us for the Zimbabwe tour. The other three coaches will be there," said BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur here today.
Sanjay Bangar is the assictant coach, Bharat Arun is the bowling coach while R Sridhar looks after the fielding aspect.
Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh staged a comeback to the ODI squad after a gap of four years as a second-string team was today named for the tour with the selectors opting to rest most of the senior players.
"The cricket advisory committee is looking into the area and shortlisting names for a future coach. Once we meet in the month of July, we will discuss the issues," said Thakur.
