The incident occurred on Thursday when the five persons, who were also the residents of the same village, abducted the teenager from her house and took her to Rajpipla town in Narmada district.
"They used two motorcycles to kidnap the girl. However, when one of the bikes broke down they called a car and took her to Rajpipla where one of the accused raped her," said Tharad taluka police inspector J G Chavda.
He said the accused, identified as Amir Sindhi, also asked the girl to marry him which she declined saying she have to consult her parents.
Other accused are identified as Dawood Sindhi, Mustafa Sindhi, Akbar Khan and Javed Khan. They all are absconding.
An FIR under various sections of IPC was registered against them today wherein Amir faces the charge of rape as well as kidnapping, police said.
