Teenage labourer dies after 11-storey fall

An 18-year-old boy died after falling from the eleventh floor of an under-construction building at Sanaught Village in the outer fringes of the national capital today.
The deceased, identified as Varikuntla, belonged to a village at Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. He worked as a labourer in the construction site under a private entity, said police.
The incident was reported around 3 PM and Varikuntla was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead. His relatives have been informed, said police.
"A case of negligence has been registered at Narela police station and investigation is underway," said DCP (Outer) Vikramjit Singh.
