Teenager dies of diarrhoea, two hospitalised

A differently-abled teenager of a state-run children's home who was hospitalised with symptoms of diarrhoea died while two others with similar symptoms are undergoing treatment at a hospital here.
"Three children from the children's home were hospitalised on Wednesday and Thursday and one of them, Baney (14), died late on Wednesday.
"They had symptoms of diarrhoea," Dr SD Sharma, superintendent of J L Lone hospital said today.
Ruling out possibility of food poisoning, he said the condition of two boys was stable.
The home for differently-abled children is run by the department of social justice and empowerment.
Officials of the department were not available for comments.
