Suhas Khamkar, a well-known former bodybuilder, who was recruited by the government in the quota for sportpersons, is currently posted at Panvel in Raigad district.
According to a press release by ACB, he had demanded a bribe of Rs 1 lakh for mutation of land record entry ('7/12 extract') following a sale of land.
He was caught at his office red-handed today while accepting Rs 50,000 from the complainant, ACB said. Further probe is on.
