Speaking at a public meeting, Rao said his government would sanction Rs 5 crore and allot around 1.5 acre of land for the construction of a Doddi Komuraiah Bhavan in Hyderabad, in memory of the late Doddi Komuraiah, who had fought against feudalism for the freedom of the people.
He called upon the Yadava community to change their ideas about sheep farming due to radical changes in society.
The Telangana Chief Minister said the Yadava community should elevate itself politically.
He promised to allot land to the hill shrine, Komuravelli Mallikarjuna Swamy temple. He said the authorities must construct more guest houses for pilgrims and provide more amenities to devotees.
