Telangana Cong leaders meet Governor over setting up of panel

Telangana Congress MLAs and other leaders today sought Governor E S L Narasimhan's intervention for immediate constitution of the state public service commission in the interest of unemployed youth.
A Congress delegation comprising Leader of Opposition in Assembly K Jana Reddy, TPCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah and others met Narasimhan in this regard.
Responding to the request, the Governor informed the delegation that the constitution of Public Service Commission was underway, a release from TPCC Vice-President and MLC Mohammed Ali Shabbir said here tonight.
"Congress leaders, on behalf of Telangana's jobless students, had sought Governor's intervention for constitution of the commission immediately," Shabbir said.
