DGP Anurag Sharma, along with a team of officials, today made a presentation to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on 'Branding and Image Building Vehicles' for police department, a release from the CM's Office said here.
Various designs of vehicles proposed to be procured by the department were shown to Rao, it said.
After eliciting views of all those present in the meeting, the Chief Minister selected two models of cars, one meant for law and order patrolling and another for traffic and highway patrolling, it said.
The law and order car and bike design was done by one Gopi Fakeera and the other by Ibrand India, a design firm. The work was executed through the Administrative Staff College of India.
The vehicles will be fitted with GPS and tablet PC besides barlights, siren and public address system, the release added.
