The growth in income from sand is also witnessing a similar trend, it added.
Telangana Mines Minister K T Rama Rao, who held a meeting with officials, said revenue from minor minerals during April to September this year stood at Rs 357.41 crore against Rs 211.4 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Revenue from sand seigniorage fees was recorded at Rs 183.7 crore during the two quarters (April-September) as compared to Rs 117.14 crore in the same period last year.
Sridhar told the minister that the pending dues would be paid as early as possible, according to an official statement.
Rao also asked the officials to prepare guidelines for offering performance based incentives to employees of the department, the release added.
