The police registered cases against Murali Mohan along with ZTPC candidate Lakshmi Ramana for violating election code in the district.
They has organised bike rally on March 29 in the temple town of Dwarka Tirumala in the West Godavari district.
"The TDP leaders organised a bike rally without prior permission in Dwaraka Tirumala after election code was in force in the district," the police said, adding that Murali Mohan was arrested today for canvassing.
