Temperatures above normal in Pb, Haryana

Maximum temperatures today hovered above normal level in Punjab and Haryana.
Cloudy weather conditions prevailed in Union Territory Chandigarh which recorded maximum at 34.5 degree Celsius, up by two degrees above normal.
Among other places in Haryana, Ambala and Karnal had a high of 33.8 and 34 degree Celsius, while Hisar's maximum was 37.7 degree Celsius, up by two notches above normal, MeT department report said.
In Punjab, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala recorded maximum at 35.4, 34.5 and 34.8 degree Celsius, rising by up to 2 notches above normal.
MeT department predicted light to moderate rains at isolated places in Punjab and Haryana in next the 24 hours.
