P Prabhakar Rao, Assistant Secretary of the nine-and-half decade-old 'Andhra Bhakt Sree Ram Mandiram', popularly known as 'Ram Temple' had his nose injured allegedly by the men of his rival group during a temple committee meeting last night, police said.
The meeting was convened by the Secretary of the committee P Panduranga Rao over the alleged misuse of temple fund.
Injured Prabhakar Rao lodged an FIR against the President of the committee Shankar Rao and three others, Officer-in-charge of Bistupur police station Jitendra Kumar said adding that Shankar Rao group also registered a counter complaint against the Assistant Secretary and others.
The 'Brahmostav' function, which began on June 8, will conclude tomorrow.
