"Two persons from either side received pellet injury. However, no complaint has been filed. One platoon of PAC, QRT and one fire tender has been deployed in the village," a police officer said.
"Deputy SP (Chhatta) Atul Kumar Srivastava and the SHO of Barsana police station are camping in the village where cross- firing lasted for over 15 minutes this evening," Mathura SSP Manjil Saini said.
"The firing started by one group when a second panchayat was going on to sort out the development after the FIR. The other group retaliated. Firing from both sides stopped when police reached the village... The situation is now fully under control," the SSP said.
