"The Thailand players are going back on August 27th. It was predecided that they would go back as their national championship starts next day. I don't know if their services will be required or not as by then the knockout lineup will be decided," Badminton Association of India (BAI) vice-president T P S Puri said.
Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk (Hyderabad Hotshots), Nichaon Jindapon (Krrish Delhi Smashers) and Sapsiree Taerattanachai (Awadhe Warriors) are the three shuttlers from Thailand currently playing in the IBL.
"I don't know from where you get this news. They are there with the teams and no one is going back. They will be there till the end of the tournament," company's CEO Ashish Chadha said.
