In fact, Thakur deposed to the committee in the morning on the possible recommendations on the reforms in BCCI.
"I met the Lodha commission today in the morning. Had a meeting with them for an hour. It was a very fruitful meeting is all I can say," Thakur said on the sidelines of South Africa's warm-up game against India A.
IPL chairman Shukla deposed before the committee in the afternoon.
Earlier in July, the Lodha Committee recommended two-year suspension of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals from the cash-rich Indian Premier League.
