Thane Guardian Minister opposes toll collection in the state

Thane Guardian Minister and Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Ganesh Naik joined the anti-toll bandwagon in the state here today.
During a discussion on conditions of roads, fly overs, bridges and other communication facilities he said, "I am of the opinion that like the one-time road tax, the government should collect the tax in lieu of toll. A person who purchases a car worth several lakhs will never crib about paying a couple of lakhs of rupees in the form of tax".
