Udaybhan Ramadhar Singh, accused in Baliram Mhatre murder case, was nabbed in Uttar Pradesh four days ago.
Another accused in the case, Anil Ramsagar Choubey alias Vijay Singh, a former sarpanch of village Aurav in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh, had been arrested on December 25, last year.
Mhatre, a local ganglord in Diva town near here, was shot dead in March 1990.
Inspector Niteen Thackeray of Thane Crime Branch said following Choubey's arrest, police tracked down Udaybhan and arrested him in Varanasi district on January 11.
Singh, allegedly involved in several crimes in UP and Maharashtra, had also been sarpanch of Thana Rampur village in Varanasi district and a Zilla Parishad member.
He was allegedly associated with Guru Satam gang, inspector Thackeray said.
